DAY ONE of GLOBAL INTERGENERATIONAL WEEK #GIW24

What is #intergenerational practice? It's MUCH MORE than bringing younger and older people together. It is a systemic approach to community development and well-being that recognizes and values the contribution of all generations who live there.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO)'s Global Campaign to Combat Ageism, intergenerational activity is a proven way to reduce ageism. And when combatting ageism can help us live up to 7.5 years longer, intergenerational practice is not just nice, it’s ESSENTIAL.
